Thai, Thai Again

As opposed to the heavily hyped Thai Gourmet (scroll down for the low down), Phayathai on Hawkins Rd. gets little word of mouth. One good thing right off the bat is that it's convenient if you're going to, or just coming from the Ronkonkoma train station. For you new Brookers, the Ronk station has many more trains than Stony Brook, so sometimes it's way more convenient. Anyway, pop into Phayathai next time you're in the area. I had an excellent and affordable Tofu with Basil Sauce. The accompanying side salad with peanut dressing was also right on. Fortunately or unfortunately, I had the whole restaurant to myself.
