If youre looking for a house party like atmosphere-look no further!
The checkmate runs by the policy no rules apply-stays open later than other bars, liquor and beer prices are way below standard cost, and theres a great jukebox
night life? in stony brook? hahahaha
The checkmate inn is an awesome bar but there is quite noise. there no parking whatsoever. its horrible but it is a nice place to rent out an have parties.
